Recipe Ingredients for Healthy Granola Trial #1

2 c. wheat germ
1 c. soya flour
2 cup oat bran
3 c. old fashioned oats
1 c. raisins
1 c. sliced almonds
1 c. sunflower seeds
1 c. flax seeds
1/3 c. honey
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Recipe Directions for Healthy Granola Trial #1

Combine all dry ingredients except dry fruit in a very large mixing bowl. Combine honey and oil in a large measuring cup. Pour over dry ingredients, folding in with a large wooden spoon until well coated. Pour into a large roasting pan and bake at 250 degrees about 1 hour or until light brown in color, stirring occasionally. Immediately fold in dried fruit while mixture is still warm. Cool and store in glass jars with tight lids. Makes about 4 quarts.
