Oats, seeds and dried fruits are all high in fibre, these delicious heath bars make the perfect start to the day or an ideal snack to keep handy if hunger hits.

Recipe Ingredients for Healthy Fruit Bars

2 cups (60g) Rice Bubbles
1 1/2 cups (150g) Rolled Oats
40 g Sesame Seeds
200 g Dried Fruit , chopped
1/3 cup Flour
1/2 cup Splenda
1/2 cup Jam, 100% fruit, melted

Recipe Directions for Healthy Fruit Bars

  1. Preheat over to 180oC. Coat a 30cm x 20cm slice tin with cooking spray.

  2. Combine the rice bubbles, oats, seeds, fruit, flour and Splenda in a large bowl. Stir in the melted jam. Stir until well combined.

  3. Press into the base of the prepared tin and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden.

  4. Cut into 16 pieces whilst warm. Leave to cool in the tin.
