1 cup butter
2 cups white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup flaxmeal
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 cup unbleached all purpose flour
2 eggs
1/2 cup coconut
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon cloves
1 teaspoon nutmeg
2 cups rolled oats
2 cups raisins
1 cup almonds
11 oz milk chocolate chips

  1. cream together butter sugars and vanilla until light and fluffy. add eggs one at a time beating well with each addition. combine flour baking soda and spices gradually add to mixture. fild in flax oats raisins almonds, and coconuts. drop by rounded spoonfuls on greased cookie sheets. bake at 375 for 8 min.
