Recipe Ingredients for Healthy Chicken & Dumplings

1 1/4 cups flour
300 g chicken breast
2 cups low sodium chicken broth
1 medium onion, chopped
2 stalks celery
3 large carrots
1/2 cups corn, frozen
1/2 cup peas, frozen
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup skim milk
1/4 cup poultry seasoning

Recipe Directions for Healthy Chicken & Dumplings

  1. Cook chicken in broth

  2. Reserve 1/2 cup of broth

  3. Mix 1/4 cup flour with reserved broth

  4. put chopped vegetables in broth

  5. Mix 1 cup flour with baking powder and poultry seasoning

  6. drop dumpling mixture one tsp at a time into boiling broth
