This is such a good chili! The recipe as of right now is fairly mild. Next time I make it, I will probably use Jalepenos instead of the chiles. NOTE: To get an accurate calorie count for this recipe, I changed the units for a few of the items (since the recipe analyzer is fickle). Below are the "real" units: 1 15 oz. can of corn, drained and rinsed (I use the No Added Salt kind) 2 15 oz. cans of Del Monte Diced Tomatoes, No Added Salt 1 15 oz. can black beans, drained and rinsed 1 15 oz. can kidney beans, drained and rinsed 1 small can green chiles 1 small (8 oz.) can Tomato Sauce, No Salt Added 1 lbs. raw ground turkey 2 tbsp. Chili Powder

Recipe Ingredients for Healthy Bean and Corn Chili

1 3/5 c. corn
1 small red onion, chopped
32 oz. Del Monte Diced Tomatoes, No Added Salt
4 oz. kidney beans
3 7/10 oz. black beans
120 g. green chilis
77 g. Tomato Sauce No Salt Added
0.56 lbs. Raw ground turkey
2 tbsp. Chili Powder

Recipe Directions for Healthy Bean and Corn Chili

  1. Brown the meat and onion until done. Drain liquid, if any.

  2. Dump everything into one pot

  3. Simmer for 1-2 hours, or until beans are tender and onions are no longer crunchy.

  4. Season to taste with salt, pepper, garlic, hot sauce, etc.

  5. NOTE: This recipe can also be made in a crock pot. After browning the meat and onion, dump everything into a crock pot and cook on high 6-8 hours.
