Recipe Ingredients for Healthy Banana Nut Muffins

1 3/4 cups flour
1/3 cup sugar
2 tsps baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
3/4 cup banana, mashed
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped

Recipe Directions for Healthy Banana Nut Muffins

  1. Grease twelve 2 1/2-inch muffin cups.

  2. Heat oven to 400*F.

  3. Combine dry ingredients well.

  4. Add all other ingredients and mix just until moistened (batter will be lumpy).

  5. Spoon into prepared cups, filling each two-thirds full.

  6. Bake for 18 minutes - or until golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

  7. Cool muffins directly on a wire rack for 5 minutes. Serve warm.
