just good old fashioned banana bread, on the lite side.

Recipe Ingredients for Healthy Banana Bread

1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup spelt flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
3 bananas
2 eggs
1/3 cup applesauce
1/4 cup sugar
2 T milk
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 c chopped walnuts or pecans

Recipe Directions for Healthy Banana Bread

combine first 5 ingredients and set aside. mash bananas, then add eggs, applesauce, sugar, milk and vanilla and stir. Slowly add in the dry ingredients. Add walnuts last. Pour into loaf pan and bake at 350 for 30-50 minutes, depending on your oven. Check with toothpick to make sure insides are done.
