Delicious low fat recipe for Banana Bread.

Recipe Ingredients for Healthy Banana Bread

2 c white flour
2 c wheat flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 stick butter
5 egg whites
1 whole egg
1 c sugar
1 c apple sauce
8 bananas

Recipe Directions for Healthy Banana Bread

  1. Mix dry ingredients. Set aside. Cream butter and sugar, add vanilla and applesauce. Set aside.

  2. Mash bananas in seperate bowl and add to creamed butter mixture. Add flour mixture slowly to creamed butter mixture.

  3. Grease small loave pans. Fill 3/4 full. Bake at 325 for approx 40 minutes. If top springs back when touched they are done. if not continue baking for an additional 5 minutes or until loave springs back when touched.

  4. Yields 7-8 small loaves
