Moist, delicious and healthy banana bread recipe!

Recipe Ingredients for Healthy banana bread

2 cups whole wheat flour
2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 medium bananas, mashed
1 tablespoon honey

Recipe Directions for Healthy banana bread

  1. Beat eggs with sugar until they have become pale in color and have about tripled in volume. Add the remaining wet ingredients and mix well on low speed. In a large bowl, combine the flour & baking soda. Make a little well in the center of the flour and pour the wet ingredients into the dry. Stir until combined and moistened. Pour batter into 1 or 2 loaf pans which have been sprayed with non stick spray. Bake at 350* or until a toothpick comes out clean.

  2. ** Note: If making 2 loaves, calories per slice are 81.

  3. Enjoy!
