Recipe Ingredients for Healthified Mediterranean-style Chicken & Pasta

6 oz whole wheat penne
2 teaspoons olive oil
1 small onion, diced
2 medium zucchini, sliced
2 cloves garlic
2 cups chicken breast
14 1/2 oz diced tomatoes
8 oz tomato sauce
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon basil
1/4 cup pitted kalamata olives
4 oz reduced fat feta cheese

Recipe Directions for Healthified Mediterranean-style Chicken & Pasta

  1. Cook pasta

  2. Cook chicken

  3. In a 12" skillet heat oil over med heat, add onion and cook 3 to 4 min. Stir in chicken, tomatoes, tomato sauce, oregano & basil, reduce to med-low and simmer 5 to 7 min. Add olives.

  4. Pour chicken over pasta, top with feta cheese and toos to coat.
