Recipe Ingredients for Healthier Chocolate Chip Cookie

1 large Egg, Whole
0.5 cup Butter
0.5 cup, packed Sugars, Brown
0.33 cup Honey, Strained Or Extracted
1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
1 cup White Flour, Unbleached
1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
0.5 tsp Baking Soda
0.25 tsp Salt, Table
0.25 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
1 cup, chopped Squash, Summer, Zucchini, Includes Skin
12 oz Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels

Recipe Directions for Healthier Chocolate Chip Cookie

  1. Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and honey in a mixer with a paddle on medium speed until smooth and creamy.

  2. In a medium bowl, sift together the flours, baking, soda, salt, and cinnamon.

  3. Add the eggs to the creamed mixture one at a time.

  4. Stop the mixer, and add the sifted dry ingredients, shredded zucchini, and the chocolate chips.

  5. Mix on low speed until ingredients are uniformly distributed.

  6. Scoop onto cookie sheets and bake until golden brown around the edges.
