Recipe Ingredients for Healthier BBQ Pulled Chicken

20 oz chicken
1/2 c maple syrup
1/4 c orange juice
1/3 c bbq sauce
1 T white vinegar
1 t mustard
1/2 t worcestershire sauce
1/4 t black pepper
1/4 t hot sauce
1/4 t cloves
1 med onion, sliced in rings
1/2 c water(add .5T no sodium beef stock)
1/4 t garlic powder
1/4 t onion powder
1 dash red pepper flakes

Recipe Directions for Healthier BBQ Pulled Chicken

  1. Cook in crock pot(high)

  2. Shred chicken when tender(2 hrs) then return to pot

  3. Serve on Village Hearth Light whole wheat buns
