With no butter and little sugar, these banana treats are yummy and good for you! Taste great as blueberry muffins also. Swap bananas for 2c fresh or frozen blueberries.

Recipe Ingredients for Healthier Banana Muffins

1 c applesauce
1 1/2 c skim milk
2 egg
4 c whole wheat flour
1 c sugar
6 tsp baking powder
4 medium bananas

Recipe Directions for Healthier Banana Muffins

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray muffin pans with non-stick spray.

  2. Mix applesauce, milk and eggs in a small bowl.

  3. In larger bowl, mix all dry ingredients together.

  4. Create a well in dry ingredients, add wet ingredients.

  5. Mash bananas and add.

  6. Stir till everything is mixed together.

  7. Pour into muffin tins.

  8. Bake 18-20 min for regular sized muffins, 10-12 minutes for mini muffins.
