Recipe Ingredients for Healthier Banana Bread

3 bananas
1/4 cup egg beaters
1 tablespoon oil
1 tablespoon unsweetened applesauce
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup splenda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 cup all purpose flour
3/4 cup whole wheat flour

Recipe Directions for Healthier Banana Bread

  1. Make sure banana's are WELL ripened, this makes all the difference in the world as far as texture and taste goes!

  2. Mash bananas, add eggbeaters, oil, applesauce, Splenda, salt, baking soda, baking powder and mix well.

  3. Stir in flours-mix 20 seconds.

  4. Pour into greased pan (Pam sprayed)

  5. Bake around 40-45min (until toothpick comes out clean)

  6. Cool 5 min. before turning out on a wire rack.
