I made this after reading Pounds & Inches again. I enjoy it as a break from the normal diet; made ahead of time, I don't have to cook (for once!), and I like it, as long as there's enough stevia! :) This can only be used *occasionally* on the hCG diet, and constitutes an entire meal. This must be made in 2 servings at a time (only because you can't split an egg yolk in half). If you're doing the diet on your own, you should be able to freeze the other half, or share with even a non-dieter (or 2 or 3 ;))

Recipe Ingredients for hCG smoothie

100 g non-fat cottage cheese
3 egg whites
1 whole egg
3 c frozen strawberries
1 1/2 small cucumbers , peeled and quartered

Recipe Directions for hCG smoothie

  1. Throw everything into the blender/food processor, and blend until smooth.

  2. Sweeten to taste with Stevia (10 drops works for me)

  3. Pour into glasses and enjoy! :)

  4. You can optionally add your tablespoon of milk or 1 1/2 tbsp of lemon juice (don't forget to record the extra calories for these! milk: 9 cal; lemon juice: 12 cal)
