Hazel's Chicken Stew. Carrots, onions, swede, turnip and celery from 1x750g bag of Sainsbury's Frozen Stew Pack.

Recipe Ingredients for Hazel's Chicken Stew

322 1/2 g carrots
135 g onions
127 1/2 g swede
127 1/2 g turnip
30 g celery
220 g red lentils
1150 g chicken legs on bone
1 tsp salt
1 litre water
450 g new potatoes, boiled

Recipe Directions for Hazel's Chicken Stew

  1. Place lentils, stewpack and chicken legs in a caserole dish.

  2. Add water and salt.

  3. Cover and stew in the oven for 90 mins.

  4. Boil potatoes for 15 mins before the end.

  5. Serve.

  6. Nom, nom, nom.
