Recipe Ingredients for Hawaiian Ham Skillet

4 servings Smithfield Hardwood Smoked Half Ham, diced
6 serving Brown Rice
1 large Onions, diced
1 medium Green Bell Pepper, diced
2 small (5-1/2" long) Carrots, diced
2 Jalapeno peppers, minced
20 oz Pineapple Tidbits in 100% Juice, drained
1/4 cup Cornstarch
4 serving Great Value Soy Sauce
72 grams Raisins
1/2 cup, unpacked Brown Sugars
1 1/2 tsp Honey Mustard
4 oz Rice Vinegar

Recipe Directions for Hawaiian Ham Skillet

  1. Cook the rice as directed.

  2. Drain pineapple, reserving juice; set aside. In a skillet, stir-fry ham, onion, green pepper and jalapenos until onions are tender and ham is golden.

  3. In a bowl, combine brown sugar and cornstarch. Stir in 1/2 cup of water, vinegar, mustard and pineapple juice until blended. Add the sauce along with the raisins and pineapple to the ham mixture; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened and bubbly. Mix in the cooked rice.
