Recipe Directions for Harvest shortbread Cookies-3 cookie serving

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat butter and splenda brown sugar blend until light and fluffy--about 2 minutes-then add biscuit mix and spices of your choice--no more than 2 teaspoons total of ginger,cinnamon,cloves,nutmeg--

  2. Beat on low speed until mixture forms a ball--roll dough into 1/2 inch balls--about 1 tablespoon each and place on baking sheet that has been coated with non-stick cooking spray--use a decorative cookie press or the bottom of a drinking glass to press firmly

  3. Bake at 325 degrees F for 12 to 15 minutes until set and just beginning to brown around edges

  4. Cool completely on a wire rack-may be rolled in granulated sugar before pressing down--but this adds calories
