1/2 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 salt to taste
5 beets

  1. Boil Beets until tender

  2. To the liquid add vinegar, sugar, cornstarch and salt. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

  3. Reduce heat to medium;

  4. stir in beets and cook until heated through.
