I call this recipe "happy" because it calls for just a bit under 12 oz of beer, meaning you need to take a sip before using. Careful- just a taste!

Recipe Ingredients for Happy Irish Beer Bread

2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
3/4 cup brown sugar
12 oz stout beer (take a small sip first, otherwise, there's just a bit too much!)
1/2 cup raisins
2/3 cup walnuts, chopped
1 tsp cinnamon
1 dash nutmeg (optional)

Recipe Directions for Happy Irish Beer Bread

Combine all ingredients and mix well. Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake for 50 minutes at 350 degrees. It couldn't be easier!
