This is my version of chili without beef or pork. Beans can easily be added.

Recipe Ingredients for Hannah's Turkey/Vegie Chili

0.33 cup, chopped Onions
16 oz Fresh Ground Turkey - Lean
6 serving MorningStar Vegie Crumbles
3.5 serving Tomato Sauce

Recipe Directions for Hannah's Turkey/Vegie Chili

  1. Finely dice 1/3 cup onion; saute over med-high heat w/ 1 Tbs oil.

  2. Add 1/2 tsp salt & 1 tsp pepper.

  3. Crumble and brown ground turkey.

  4. Add carton of Del Fuerte tomato sauce and stir all together.

  5. Once meat is half way cooked,

  6. add: 1/2 tsp of red pepper flakes, 1 tsp ground mustard, 1 1/2 tsps each of smoked paprika, cumin, & garlic powder, and 2 tsp each of chili powder & cilantro (dried).

  7. Add vegie crumbles and stir all together well. Cook until meat is done.

  8. Add can of diced tomatos.

  9. Simmer on low for about 30 mins.
