Gugrati snack made with besan and semolina flour. Can make variations with the kind of veggies used. Eat on its own or with chutney.

Recipe Ingredients for Handwa (Spicy Indian baked snack)

14 grams fenugreek []
128 grams Besan
1/2 cup Semolina, Enriched
400 grams Fat Free Yogurt Plain
2 flowerets Cauliflower
0.33 cup, chopped Peppers, Sweet, Green
1/2 oz Chilli
2 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Baking Powder
3 tsp Ginger Root
200 grams Omega Natural Blend of Canola Soy and Olive Oils Oil
1 tbsp Tomato Paste

Recipe Directions for Handwa (Spicy Indian baked snack)

  1. soak besan and semolina in yogurt and 1/2 cup water. let rest for a few hours.

  2. wash and grate cauliflower, green pepper chilli and ginger. Cut the fenugreek fine.

  3. Add salt and black pepper to taste to the soaked flour mix.

  4. Add the oil.

  5. Preheat the oven at 165 c.

  6. Stir in baking soda and powder and add the veggies.

  7. pour into rectangle pan.

  8. Bake in oven for 35 - 40 minutes.

  9. remove from oven cool and cut into 18 pieces.

  10. Eat on its own or with chutney.
