Delicious Purim treat!! Can be filled per personal preference (chopped fruit and jams are traditional).

Recipe Ingredients for Hamentaschen

4 cups flour
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup sugar
1 pinch of salt
3 large eggs, whole, raw
3 tablespoons lemon juice
3 tablespoons orange juice
4 teaspoons baking powder

Recipe Directions for Hamentaschen

  1. Beat eggs - add sugar, vegetable oil and juice.

  2. Add flour and baking powder.

  3. Roll to 1/4" thick.

  4. Cut with round cookie cutter or large mouth glass.

  5. Spoon in filling of choice and pinch closed.

  6. Brush with beaten egg.

  7. Bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes, or until light golden.
