4 portion ( yield from 1/2 lb raw meat ) Beef, Ground, 95% Lean Meat / 5% Fat, Crumbles
16 oz Frozen Supersweet Cut Corn
16 oz Carrots
31 oz Petite Diced Tomatoes
16 oz Sweet Peas
16 oz Tomato Sauce
16 oz Cut Green Beans
2 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
3 cup (8 fl oz) Water
1 tsp Pepper, Black
2 tsp Salt, Table
6 tsp VIGO BEEF BASE
8 cups green cabbage
1 lb. turnips

Recipe Directions for Hamburger Vegetable Soup - No Potatoes

  1. Brown beef and onions. Drain

  2. Combine beef mixture with other ingredients and bring to a boil.

  3. Reduce heat and simmer at least 2 hours. The flavor of this soup gets better the longer it simmers and is even better the next day.
