A great supper to leave for the kids and the baby sitter....my husband loves it too! Filling enough for him and simple enough for my 10 year old to make.

Recipe Ingredients for That Hamburger Cheesy Rice Thing

1 pound lean ground beef
10 oz Rotel Tomatoes
3/4 cup rice
7/10 grams Lipton Onion Soup Mix (one envelope)
1 1/2 cup boiling water
8 oz. low fat cheddar cheese

Recipe Directions for That Hamburger Cheesy Rice Thing

  1. Brown meat.

  2. Put all other ingredients (not the cheese) in with the meat and simmer 30 minutes.

  3. Sprinkle cheese over top and continue to simmer until chese has melted.
