Recipe Ingredients for Ham Steaks With Apricot-Mustard Glaze

2 (30ml) tsp apricot jam
1 1/2 tbsp (22ml) brown sugar
2 tbsp (30ml) Dijon mustard
1 tsp (5ml) hot sauce
1 1/2 pound (675 grams) ham steak

Recipe Directions for Ham Steaks With Apricot-Mustard Glaze

  1. Line a baking sheet with a double layer of aluminum foil.

  2. In a small bowl, combine jam, sugar, mustard and hot sauce.

  3. Place steaks on foil and spread an equal amount of the jam mixture on each one.

  4. Preheat broiler and broil steaks about 6 inches from heat for 10 to 12 minutes until brown and bubbly.

  5. Cut larger steaks into two equal portions.
