Recipe Ingredients for Ham, Spinach & Ricotta Cheese Calzone

16 oz original Ricotta Cheese, Sorrentino
1 oz Pecorino Romano, grated
2 large Eggs, beaten
1 tsp garlic powder
1 oz spinach leaves
1 serving Wegmans 97% Fat Free Ham
3 oz Mozzarella Cheese, Sliced
12 serving Pizza Dough by Lisa

Recipe Directions for Ham, Spinach & Ricotta Cheese Calzone

  1. Divide the pizza dough into equal parts and on a pizza peel shape the dough into two 8 inch circles.

  2. In a bowl mix the rocotta cheese, pecorino cheese, and the two eggs. Combine until smooth.

  3. Onto half of each dough circle evenly spread the cheese filling.

  4. Add the spch in a even layer over the top of the cheese filling.Add the ham in a seconf layer over the spinach.

  5. Add the mozzarella cheese over the top of the ham layer.

  6. Fold over the opposing half of the cirlce and seal by pinching over in one inch increments the botom layer of dough over the top along the edge.

  7. Place the calzones in a 450 degree oven and bake for 20 minutes or until lightly brwned on the entire surface.

  8. Serve hot with basic tomato sauce.
