Recipe Ingredients for Ham & Pepperjack Omelet

3 large Egg, Whole
1 tbsp Light Buttery Spread with Flax Oil
1 serving Deli style Ham Smoked
1 serving Singles Pepperjack 2% Milk
1 oz Sharp Cheddar Shredded Cheese
0.5 clove Garlic
1 sprigs Parsley
0.5 medium (4-1/8" long) Onions, Spring Or Scallions
0.5 tsp Salt
1 tbsp Low Fat Sour Cream
1 tsp Sauce, Ready-to-serve, Pepper, Tabasco
1 oz Milk, Lowfat, Fluid, 1% Milkfat

Recipe Directions for Ham & Pepperjack Omelet

  1. Prepare ingredients by chopping ham, parsley, half a garlic clove, green onion, Warm a nonstick skillet to medium heat. Add butter to skillet.

  2. While butter melts, lightly whisk 3 eggs in a bowl. Then add 2 T of milk, salt & pepper, green onion, and half the parsley. Whisk till fluffy.

  3. Make sure the butter covers the entire bottom of the skillet and is warm enough to sizzle when a drop of water is added. Pour in egg mixture and let it cover the bottom like a pancake.

  4. Cook for one minute till eggs are firm enough to flip over. Carefully flip the omelet.

  5. Cook a little bit longer and add the ham and cheese to one side of the omelet (save some cheddar for topping). Fold one side of the omelet over the filling and cook until the cheese begins to melt. Don't let the eggs get too brown though.

  6. Tip the omelet onto a plate. Top with a dab of sour cream, and the rest of the cheddar and parsley. If desired, add tabasco sauce.
