Our regular quiche with ham and onions

Recipe Ingredients for Ham and Onion Quiche

114 grams butter
1 1/4 cup wheat flour
1 egg yolk
2 eggs
1 cup whipping cream
2 cups cooked ham
1/2 yellow onion
1 1/2 cups cheese
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Ham and Onion Quiche

  1. soften the butter

  2. mix butter with the flour

  3. add a little water to make the dough smooth

  4. refrigerate for about 30 minutes

  5. mix eggs and whipping cream, salt and pepper

  6. spread dough in a pan with your fingers

  7. chop the ham and onions into pieces

  8. put ham and onions on the dough in the pan

  9. spread the grated cheese on top of the ham and onions

  10. pour the whipping cream mix on top

  11. bake in the oven for about 25 minutes

  12. cover with metal foil

  13. bake for another 5-10 minutes until the quiche is "firm"
