Recipe Ingredients for Ham and cheese quesadillas

1 oz. reduced-fat Swiss cheese
2 whole-wheat tortillas
2 oz. fat-free ham

Recipe Directions for Ham and cheese quesadillas

  1. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Place one slice of cheese on the tortilla (8 inch tortillas). Layer the ham on top of the cheese. Top with the remaining slice of cheese and then place the other tortilla on top.

  2. Cook the quesadillas, occasionally pressing down gently with a spatula, until the bottom tortilla is toasted crisp, usually about 1.5 minutes. Carefully turn the quesadilla over and cook until crisp and the cheese melts. Transfer to a plate and cut into four wedges.
