Ham and cheese breakfast casserole

Recipe Ingredients for Ham and Cheese Breakfast Casserole

4 large eggs
4 large egg whites
1 cup skim milk
1/2 pound whole grain bread
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
5 ounces diced ham steak
3/4 cup swiss cheese

Recipe Directions for Ham and Cheese Breakfast Casserole

  1. Oven at 375

  2. Coat casserole dish with cooking spray

  3. Whisk eggs, egg whites, milk in medium bowl.

  4. Add mustard and whisk to combine.

  5. Toss bread and ham in large bowl and add egg misture and toss well to coat.

  6. Pransfer to baking dish and push down to compact.

  7. Cover with foil.

  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes.

  9. Uncover and sprinkle with cheese and keep baking for another 15-20 minutes.

  10. Transfer to wire rack and cool for 15-20 minutes before serving.
