Recipe Ingredients for Ham and Beans

2 pounds great northern beans
1 pound diced ham
1/4 cup diced onion
1 salt
1 pepper
3 1/2 cups chicken stock
1 cup water

Recipe Directions for Ham and Beans

  1. soak dry beans overnight, drain

  2. cut all ham off ham bone and dice

  3. add ham and hambone to crock pot

  4. add beans to crockpot

  5. add diced onion, salt and pepper to crockpot

  6. cover with chicken stock and water

  7. cook 6-8 hours until beans are tender
