A nice healthy alternate to chocs, mostly vegan (it contains honey)

Recipe Ingredients for Halva Truffles (Esti

4 serving Sesame Seeds (1/4 cup)
0.13 serving Honey (1 cup)
1 serving Nature's Choice - Carob Powder - Finely Ground
1 oz (24 whole kernels) Almonds

Recipe Directions for Halva Truffles (Esti

  1. Ground the seseme seeds to a consistancy of butter.

  2. Combine seseme butter, honey and carob powder (could add vanilla or coffee instead).

  3. Once rollable, divide into about 24 small balls, and add the centre filling - almonds in this case (could be anything, ie goji berries or dates).

  4. Roll it in the coating.

  5. Refridgerate until cold.
