Recipe Ingredients for Hallelujah Acres Fresh Strawberry Pie

1/2 tsp vanilla
456 grams Strawberries
112 grams Raw Almonds
1 cup Pitted Dates
2 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long) Bananas
1 fl oz Lemon Juice
1/4 cup Pitted Dates

Recipe Directions for Hallelujah Acres Fresh Strawberry Pie

  1. Pie Shell:

  2. 1 cup raw almonds

  3. 1 cup soft, pitted dates

  4. 1/2 tsp. vanilla

  5. Grind the nuts in a food processor until finely chopped, add the dates and

  6. vanilla, and blend well. Press thinly into a pie plate (from center to the

  7. outside rim) to form the shell.

  8. Binder:

  9. 7 or 8 Large ripe strawberries

  10. 5 soft dates, pitted

  11. 2 bananas, fairly ripe

  12. 1 Tbs.. fresh lemon juice

  13. Blend all ingredients in food processor or blender until well mixed.

  14. Fruit Filling:

  15. Cut 2 pints of fresh strawberries into quarters, fold into binder and fill shell. Decorate with approximately 1/2 pint of quartered strawberries.

  16. Cover with plastic wrap and store in refrigerator. Chill thoroughly before serving.
