Recipe Ingredients for Halibut Tacos

1 1/2 pounds halibut fillet
1 tbsp vegetable oil
3 tbsp lime juice
1 tbsp hot chili powder
1/4 cup jalapeno
1/2 cup fresh cilantro
1 head white cabbage
1/2 red onion, sliced
3 tbsp sour cream
12 tbsp salsa
12 ounces shredded cheese
12 flour tortillas

Recipe Directions for Halibut Tacos

  1. Combine oil, lime juice, chili powder, 1/2 the jalapeno, and cilantro and marinate the fish for about an hour turning once.

  2. Grill the fish until it flakes (a few minutes per side depending on the thickness of the fish).

  3. Let rest for 3-5 minuted wrapped in aluminum foil.

  4. place the tortillas on the grill for a minute per side.

  5. Flake the fish and transfer to a serving dish.

  6. Add ingredients to the tortillas to taste.
