I don't really like whole wheat noodles, but they're not so bad if you mix them half and half. This is a recipe for a basic sauce that is super good.

Recipe Ingredients for half and half spaghetti

56 g (1 serving) thin spaghetti
1 1/4 cups whole wheat spaghetti
2 medium tomatos
1/2 medium red pepper
1/3 large green pepper
1 large slice onion
8 small black olives, quartered
1 tablespoon black pepper, freshly ground
1 tablespoon Lawry's seasoning salt
1 1/2 tablespoons fresh thyme
1 tablespoon fresh oregano
1 1/2 tablespoons fresh basil
2 oz asiago cheese, grated

Recipe Directions for half and half spaghetti

  1. Chop the veggies into appropriately sized pieces.

  2. put in a pot with the spices

  3. boil water for pasta

  4. cook the veggies until the tomatoes are reduced and look "saucy."

  5. Add the cheese

  6. simmer over low heat

  7. meanwhile, let the pasta cook for about ten minutes.

  8. serve and enjoy!
