Your favorite traditional chocolate chip cookies with half the fat and a little bit healthier! And guess what? They taste EXACTLY the same!

Recipe Ingredients for Half the fat chocolate chip cookies

1 1/4 cups white flour
1 tablespoon white flour (in place of chopped nuts)
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp. salt
1.12 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 large eggs
1/4 cup nonfat yogurt
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Half the fat chocolate chip cookies

  1. Beat together eggs, butter, yogurt, vanilla and sugars. *Make sure the yogurt is GREEK nonfat plain yogurt. Regular yogurt will result in a watery batter.Make sure it is smooth. You may have to use a whisk to get the lumps out.

  2. In a separate bowl, mix together dry ingredients.

  3. Once the eggs, butter, yogurt, vanilla and sugar mixture is done, gradually mix in the dry ingredients to get an even, thick batter.

  4. When the batter is even, hand mix in your choice of chocolate chips.

  5. On a cookie sheet, make teaspoon sized cookies, spreading them about two inches apart. The recipe should make about 36 cookies.

  6. Bake at 375 for 11 minutes
