Recipe Ingredients for Halal Pear and Arugula Salad

0.17 pear, medium (approx 2-1/2 per lb) Pears
1/4 tbsp Olive Oil
3/4 slice Classic Sliced Turkey Bacon
1/8 tbsp Honey, Strained Or Extracted
1 dash Pepper, Black
1/16 tsp Salt, Table
1/4 serving Apple Cider Vinegar
3/4 cup Arugula

Recipe Directions for Halal Pear and Arugula Salad

  1. Make vinaigrette:

  2. Whisk together vinegar, honey, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a salad bowl. Add oil in a slow stream, whisking until combined well.

  3. Make salad:

  4. Cook turkey bacon in oil in a 10-inch heavy skillet over moderate heat, turning frequently, until crisp, about 5 minutes. Tear into bite-size pieces.

  5. Cut pears into bite-size 1/4-inch-thick slices.

  6. Add pears to dressing along with arugula, cheese, and bacon, tossing to coat.
