Recipe Ingredients for H.C.'s Modified Southwestern Shrimp and Angel Hair Pasta

12 ounces angel hair pasta (packaged)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 bell pepper, red, coarsely chopped
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
1 green onion, bunch, chopped
1 onion, small, chopped
1 1/2 pound shrimp, raw, medium, peeled
11 ounce corn, white shoe peg, drained
1 tablespoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin, ground

Recipe Directions for H.C.'s Modified Southwestern Shrimp and Angel Hair Pasta

  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions, omitting any salt (optional). Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large nonstick skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and saute' the pepper, garlic, green onions, and onion for 5 minutes or until tender. Add the shrimp and cook, stirring, for 3 minutes or until the shrimp begin to turn pink.

  3. Add the remaining ingredients and stir until heated, Add the pasta, tossing to mix well.
