Recipe Ingredients for Gyros

1 lb ground lamb
1 red onion
2 tomatoes
2 cups sour cream
1 cucumber
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp basil
1/2 tsp rosemary
1/2 tsp thyme
1/4 tsp Marjoram, Dried
1/2 tsp pepper
2 tsp lemon juice
4 whole wheat pitas
3 clove garlic
2 tbsp fresh parsley

Recipe Directions for Gyros

  1. Brown meat, 1 clove of garlic and onions.

  2. Add spices and tomato.

  3. For sauce, combine sour cream, cucumber (peel and remove seeds), sugar, and salt in a blender.

  4. Serve with a pita
