You can add boiled chopped cabbage to the meat mixture, but we were looking for more protein and less fillers.

Recipe Ingredients for Gyoza Lettuce Wraps

6 T chopped green onion
2 T sesame oil
1 T splenda
2 T soy sauce
3 T freshly grated ginger
1/2 t garlic salt
2 lb ground turkey (raw)
8 lettuce leaves

Recipe Directions for Gyoza Lettuce Wraps

  1. Combine, green onion, sesame oil, sugar, soy sauce, ginger & garlic salt in large bowl and mix until cabbage is evenly coated.

  2. Add raw ground turkey and combine with hands.

  3. Crumble in skillet on med-hi and cook until no longer pink.

  4. Put in lettuce leaves and eat with hands. Delish!
