Recipe Ingredients for gumbo

4 tablespoons vegetable oil
6 tablespoons butter
8 tablespoons flour
1 cup bell pepper, diced
1 1/2 cup onion, diced
1/2 cup celery, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
30 ounce stewed tomatoes
8 ounces okra, chopped
6 cups water
14 ounces turkey sausage, smoked, sliced
1 pound shrimp
8 1/2 ounces lump crab meat
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon parsley, dried
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper, dried

Recipe Directions for gumbo

Melt butter into oil. Add flour and whisk. Brown roux, stirring constantly about 30 minutes. Add hot water, vegetables, worcestershire sauce, spices, herbs andcook about 10 minutes. Add sausage and seafood, cook 10 minutes. Serve with white rice and/or french bread.
