1 t chili powder change substitute for the serrano pepper, in a pinch.

Recipe Ingredients for Guacamole I

1 large avocado
2 T fresh lime juice
1/2 c tomato, finely chopped and peeled
1 t salt
2 t finely chopped onion
1 serrano pepper, chopped
1 dash of paprika
1/8 t pepper
1 pinch of cayenne pepper

Recipe Directions for Guacamole I

Peel and mash avocado with fork. Blend in remaining ingredients. To make ahead of time, put the pit in the spread (remove before serving) and cover tightly with foil or plastic wrap. Makes approximately 1-1/2 cups.
