Recipe Ingredients for Guacamole - A La Minion

2 fruit without skin and seeds Avocados
0.25 cup Lime Juice
1 dash Salt, Table
1 dash Pepper, Black
6 oz Cilantro
0.25 cup Lemon Juice, Canned Or Bottled
1 clove Garlic
0.5 cup, chopped Onions, Spring Or Scallions
1 pepper Peppers, Jalapeno
1 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) Tomatoes, Red, Ripe

Recipe Directions for Guacamole - A La Minion

  1. Prepare a large food processor.

  2. Peel and slice the avocados into the food processor. (If you prefer a chunkier guacamole, smash with a fork in a separate bowl)

  3. Peel clove of garlic, add to processor. (Garlic lovers, add another clove, don't like garlic, use less or omit all together)

  4. Add lime juice (or lemon juice if you prefer lemon juice, or combine the two with less of each if you want a tangy guacamole)

  5. Add chopped scallions to processor.

  6. Slice jalapeno pepper and add. (If you like it hot, add a second jalapeno pepper or a different hotter pepper, omit if spiciness is not your thing)

  7. Strip 1/2 bunch of cilantro into food processor. (only the leaves, not the stems)

  8. Blend ingredients in the food processor.

  9. Place in a separate bowl.

  10. Dice the tomato, and add the diced tomato to the avocado food processor mixture.

  11. Add salt and pepper to taste.

  12. Fold in the diced tomatoes gently so as not to squish them.

  13. Garnish with extra cilantro or a few pieces of diced tomato if desired.

  14. Serve with tortilla chips or fresh romaine lettuce.
