Gruner Salad: Cabbage with a special dressing!

Recipe Ingredients for Gruner Salad


Dressing:
2 c. corn oil
3/4 c. cider vinegar
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. soy sauce

Topping:
3 1/5 ounces ramen noodles
2 tbsp almonds, sliced
2 tbsp sesame seeds
2 tbsp margarine

Salad:
1 head cabbage - chopped
2 green onions - chopped

Recipe Directions for Gruner Salad

  1. Dressing:

  2. Mix and boil 2 minute, cool in refrigerator before putting on cabbage

  3. Toppings:

  4. Melt margarine, add sesame seeds, almonds, and noodles. Brown in oven at 350 degrees, stirring every 10 minutes for 30 minutes.

  5. Just before serving, combine cabbage with ⅓ c. dressing and 4 Tbsp topping. Adjust amounts depending on amount of cabbage.
