Any vegatables can be added to this recipe such as celery, zucchini, or green peppers.I steam the veggies first to speed up cook time.

Recipe Ingredients for Ground Turkey and Vegatable Chili

1 1/2 lbs ground Turkey
1/2 chopped onion
20 oz diced tomatoes
12 oz stewed tomatoes
12 oz chili beans
1 clove garlic
1/2 c chopped spinach
1/2 c chopped carrots
1/2 c chopped broccoli
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp salt
2 c water

Recipe Directions for Ground Turkey and Vegatable Chili

  1. Brown ground turkey and chopped onion.

  2. Add diced/stewed tomatoes, chili beans and water. Bring to a boil and then simmer.

  3. Season with salt, pepper, chili powder.

  4. Add all chopped vegatables and chopped garlic clove. Simmer until ready.
