Recipe Ingredients for Ground Turkey & Sweetpotato Shephards Pie

4 sweetpotatoes, boiled, without salt
1/4 cup fat free sour cream
1 1/2 lb Turkey breast, 99% Fat-Free, ground
540 ml soup, vegetable beef, salt reduced
2 tbsp milk
1 egg
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup onion, diced
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1/2 tbsp Parmesan cheese
1 tsp garlic, minced
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/8 tsp pepper
1/2 cup grated cheese (optional)

Recipe Directions for Ground Turkey & Sweetpotato Shephards Pie

  1. Peel & boil sweet potatoes.

  2. Mix Sweet Potatoes with fat free sour cream in one bowl.

  3. In a separate bowl mix together remaining ingredients

  4. Spread meat mixture in casserole dish (about 2" deep) (enough for 2-2 qt casserole dishes)

  5. Top with Sweet Potato mixture

  6. You can sprinkle your favourite grated cheese mixture on top if you like.

  7. Bake at 350F for 1 hour
