Recipe Ingredients for Groumet Hamburgers

1 lb Hamburger, raw
1 cup bread crumbs
1 tsp rosemary, ground
1 tbl Dijon Mustard
1 1/2 tsp soy sauce
1 tbl extra virgin olive oil
2 dash tabasco sauce
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shedded

Recipe Directions for Groumet Hamburgers

  1. Hamburger should be at room temperature before starting. Do not leave out all night.

  2. Preheat oven to 350 deg F while mixing the following in a medium mixing bowl: bread crumbs, hamburger, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, tabasco sauce, and rosemary. Hand mix until well blended. Separate mixture into 4 equally sized balls.

  3. For each hamburger ball, make a small pocket with your thumb and 1/8 cup of cheese. Fold the hamburger ball so that cheese is in the center. Carefully flat and shape ball into hamburger patty. Repeat with other 3.

  4. In medium skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add hamburger patties to hot skillet cook for 3 minutes and turn over for another 3 minutes. Remove from heat and place patties on ungreased cookie sheet. Place cookie sheet in oven for 15 minutes and then serve on buns.
