Tasty whole grain oat cereal with lots of texture and crunch. Very nutritious.

Recipe Ingredients for Groatmeal - by Bruce

336 grams Oat Groats
100 grams Raisins, Seedless
100 grams Chopped Dates
2 oz Chopped Walnuts
1 tbsp Flaxseed Oil, Organic
64 oz water

Recipe Directions for Groatmeal - by Bruce

  1. Bring water to rapid boil.

  2. Add flaxseed oil.

  3. Add groats slowly so as to maintain boil.

  4. Stir to ensure no sticking on bottom.

  5. Seal the pressure cooker and bring to 15lb pressure (1st red ring).

  6. Cook for 15 minutes, then normal cool - rapid cool under faucet.

  7. Open cooker and stir in raisins, dates, and walnuts and simmer for another 15 minutes.

  8. Slowly cool until thickened.

  9. Makes total of 2 Kg, or 8 x 250kg servings
