Grilled Steak Kebabs with Orange and Hoisin Glaze

Recipe Ingredients for Grilled Steak Kebabs with Orange and Hoisin Glaze

1/2 cup frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
1/2 cup hoisin sauce
2 tbsp. chili powder
1 1/2 tbsp. olive oil
2 tsp. (packed) finely grated orange peel
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 lb. pork tenderloin, in steaks about 1 1/4 inches thick, cut into 20 cubes
1 orange, cut inch-thick slices
1/4 cup chopped green onions

Recipe Directions for Grilled Steak Kebabs with Orange and Hoisin Glaze

  1. Preparation

  2. In a small bowl whisk

  3. cup orange juice concentrate

  4. cup hoisin sauce

  5. 2 Tbsp. chili powder

  6. 1 Tbsp. olive oil

  7. 2 tsp. orange rind

  8. 1 tsp. salt

  9. tsp. pepper

  10. Remove the bag of beef from the fridge. Place the bag in a crockpot for stability.

  11. Add cup of the sauce to the bag of beef.

  12. Seal the bag, squeezing out as much air as possible. Massage the bag to coat the meat with the sauce.

  13. Place the remaining sauce in a small Ziplock bag and seal, squeezing out as much air as possible.

  14. Place both these bags into a clean large Ziplock bag and seal.

  15. Cut each orange slice into 6 wedges. Place in a small Ziplock bag and seal, squeezing out as much air as possible.

  16. Place cup chopped green onions in a small Ziplock bag and seal.

  17. Keep the orange wedges and onions fresh.

  18. Pick up 4 large wooden skewers.

  19. Cooking

  20. Thaw completely in the fridge.

  21. Preheat the grill to medium ? high heat.

  22. Soak the 4 wooden skewers for at least 10 minutes.

  23. Alternate 5 beef cubes and 4 orange wedges on each of the 4 wooden skewers.

  24. Grill the kebabs to desired doneness, brushing with the remaining sauce and turning occasionally, about 10 minutes for medium ? rare.

  25. Place1 skewer on each of 4 plates and sprinkle with chopped green onion.

  26. Serve with the remaining sauce.
